Have you heard the new album, Amaran's Plight? It's really quite good.

Yes, it´s quite good, but you can hear that Gary Wehrkamp (Shadow Gallery) is the driving force of this line-up.
I think the music would have been much more unique if the Shadow Gallery influences hadn´t been that strong. I like Shadow Gallery, but I had hoped that Gary would have tried something different with this group.

Yea -- his sound is all over this album. Kinda like Neal Morse's Sound (and Roine Stolt's) is all over Transatlantic.

Not that it's a bad thing though. :)

The White Stripes.

Hell yeah!

I've been getting into them quite a bit, lately - In the past month, I've purchased Elephant, Get Behind me Satan, and Icky Thump. I really love the last album, in particular - it's just so crazy and an excellent mix of prewar blues and modern garage rock. Crazy stuff.

Also been listening to Muse's new album, the (sort of) new Tool album (love it, since I saw 'em live), and, as usual, Zeppelin.
