[July] What are you reading?

Haven't done much fun reading for a while, but my friend wrote a short novel ([ame=http://www.amazon.com/Undead-on-Arrival-ebook/dp/B008BP3094/]Undead on Arrival[/ame]) so I gave it a go. Fun Noir Zombie romp if you like that sort of thing. :)

I love me some zombies :) and the price is right, maybe I'll give it a go.

I just finished reading [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Under-Dome-Novel-Stephen-King/dp/1439149038/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1342474227&sr=1-1&keywords=the+dome+stephen+king]Under the Dome[/ame] by Stephen King.

Not bad, I really enjoyed most of it, but the ending was a bit of a let down. I hear that's a common issue with King's work, but this is the first one I've actually read.

I gave up on Supergods shortly after posting. Way, way too self-indulgent, and my goodness Morrison will not stop talking about all the drugs he's taken. Bless his heart.

Ok, it's on my Kindle, it will join me on my trip to New Orleans, hopefully the zombageddon distracts me from 1000% humidity....

BTW [MENTION=36973]stonegod[/MENTION] - Print Length: 302 pages - that's not really short...it's not long (like that 1100 page behemoth from King), but it seems a good length

Finished "If a Pirate I Must Be: the Story of Bartholamew Roberts, the Greatest Pirate of the Golden Age".

It was very cool. We've heard so much folklore and near mythology about pirates, it was extremely interesting learning about "real" pirates. Basically, it was really cool to be a pirate, until you got caught and hanged.

Now I've started "In the Garden of the Beast" about an American family in Berlin in '33, during Hitler's rise to power. Chilling so far.

I finished Mira Grant's Blackout the third in her great Zombie trilogy. The trilogy surpasses World War Z and Walking Dead as my favorite Zombie reading experience.

Today I started Redshirts and for any fan of Star Trek original series this is a very entertaining and enjoyable look from the ensigns point of view.

In anticipation for my forthcoming Ravenloft campaign I picked up the Solomon Kane omnibus, the Complete John Silence stories, and a collection of Carnacki the Ghost Finder.

Started 20th Century Boys and I'm hooked. Great characters, and hopefully Urawase doesn't drag out the story too long like he did with Monster.
