[June] What are you playing?

Now playing ...

Ichanko, human (Oeridian) male LG Mnk5 of Saint Cuthbert (will be Mnk6 when he comes back to town), Greyhawk (Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil)

Basayant Hrprskl, human (Suloise) male CN Nec8 (will be Nec9 after one more adventure), homebrew (Greyhawkish), and his rat familiar, Mr. Spock (since 3.5 is giving me animate dead earlier and I talked the GM into letting me make the changes, I need names for his bony buddies for the weekend, and I need to keep them away from the paladin!)

Blandur Monissman, human (Sembian) male CG Enc4 and his raven familiar Atrius, Forgotten Realms

Nescius, ogre male CN Bbn1, in a fight club

Joseph Fitzroy, human male corrupt stockbroker/ritual magician, 230 points, GURPS Conspiracy X (modern-day)

Santino Rossilini (Saint Ross), human male former Mafia hitman, 220 points, GURPS Conspiracy X (modern-day)

Onaka Tomonaru, human male (of oni descent, to his dismay) Buddhist priest, 110 points, GURPS Japan

My own game, a GURPS Space interstellar space marine A-Team game with 400 point studs and using GURPS Space Atlas 1 (TL 10, corporate state) as a game world, is on hold.

There's a chance one of those games may go Call of Cthulhu BRP (1920s), in which case I have Lawrence Torrez, human male Miskatonic U classics professor.

Well, I'll be DMing the last session of my Knights of Ill Fortune campaign next week. The game has gone pretty well. It's an excellent group of players, but the campaign never quite came together in my head the way that I would like.

Next month I'm leaving Boston (the land of 10,000 gamers) for Plymouth, NH. Hopefully I'll be able to find a group up there. I'd like an opportunity to play some of the d20 games I haven't tried yet, like Mutants and Masterminds or Call of Cthulhu d20. I'd also jump at the chance to DM a swashbuckling pirate game built around Green Ronin's Freeport.

DM'ing City of the Spider Queen for my home FR campaign, with Urban Arcana, Lord of the Rings, and d20M Dark*Matter on deck.

Playing a NYU Anthropologist in Yellow Sign's Masks of Nyarlathotep game on these boards and having a blast. :D

Feral dwarf druid level 16 right now with a prestige class.

Going to be switching to a Feral Dwarf Psion (Shaper) soon.

Both are playing through City of the Spider Queen.

Have a Mutants and Masterminds/Spycraft game in the works, as well as a little more nebulous Exalted.

Will certainly be playing a game of Arcana Unearthed as soon as possible. Probably in a Toril based version of the Diamond Throne with a vast fleet and the medieval American Southwest to the southwest.

I'm DMing City of the Spider Queen. It's an evil party with Darkvision Races only (I have drow, dwarves, duergar, and fey'ri in that party)

I play a Paladin of Sune in a Forum Game (Forgotten Realms):
Stephanis of Sune (Stephanis Tallstag) from Sembia. Human Paladin 1 of Sune. The game is running very slowly, there was not much action and not so many opportunities for Roleplaying (our party had one fight and is less than a week abroad).

The rest of my characters is in one or the other "home game", many of which are played alternatelly or only every other week or so.

Antaros Dlardrageth (a.k.a. Antar Nimesin), CE Fey'ri rogue 6 (ECL 8) (his main disguise is a Gold Elf - basically his true form minus demonic traits). (It's a FR campaign in Cormyr, though at the moment we're in Turmish) It's very funny - he has lots of skills and is a master of subterfuge. It's an evil campaign and he has lots of opportunities to be evil. Unfortunately, the DM is not the best (at times, he's really crappy) since he has a weird attitude (he uses no digesters and some such cause he doesn't want unrealistic stuff, but we can carry thousands of gold pieces around, and horses are swept away by streams that don't even reach an elf's knees). Also, he gives us enemies that are far to tough and/or numerous for the party, but we win anyway cause the enemy won't attack a seriously wounded PC.... I consider leaving the campaign if he doesn't improve his performance (I almost did that once already, but didn't cause a friend of mine would have no way to getting there then, for I always give him a ride since he lives along the way)

Cal'Do'Hir Cuthalion (yes, Strongbow) CG Wood Elf Cleric 11/Divine Disciple 5 of Solonor Thelandira. An archer cleric in a FR campaign (which was a Ravenloft Campaign before and is a Planehopping Campaign at the moment, since we're in the Demonweb Pits at the Moment). I must confess that he is a powergamer character, but he has his personality, as well. I just had to do it to show the others that clerics can be quite powerful (mostly AD&D veterans, many still think that clerics are healers and good for nothing else. Well, they used to think so...). Also, since we have no full-time arcanist (that is: we have an evoker, but he plays only occasionally, and a sorcerer/archmage, but he only plays overy other week), I'm often the major spell-slinger (in addittion to healer, - although we have another in our party - damage dealer and party buffer). Still, it's a fun campaign, for the DM is quite competent and the story was fun so far.

Kyle Sharidan, Fast Hero 3/Gunslinger 1. It's d20 Modern, without magic (a Conspiracy game, with occurences of mutants that have animal features). We only had one session so far so I cannot say much (starting level 3, though we had made the characters with starting level 6, but toned that down a bit, but advancement will be quite fast till 6th). The game plays in Bremen (the one in Germany, not the one in the Icewind Dale ;)). Kyle's quite a weapon fanatic, and one of the goals is to get quite an impressive collection of unusual weapons (UMF is used heavily for that). He also has some skills in Asking People Some Questions.

Patrick Crichton, Strong Hero 3/Soldier 3. Also d20M, in a StarGate campaign. Specializing in the HK G11, he is also a good pilot, driver, demo man, and can survive in hostile environments. Later, he will very probably get the party expert in alien vehicles (another player - going along the smart hero career way - will be specialist in alien arms). The campaign will start in roughly 15 hours, so cannot say to much.

Plans for the Future: After that FR/Demonweb pits Campaign (with the cleric), the DM will start an evil Ravenloft campaign (along some campaign Idea he had for quite some time and which is described in Champions of Darkness. I'm not the Ravenloft expert he is, but it's a conflict between two sides and the campaign can be played on either). I'll go for a tyrant - either a blackguard or dreadmaster of Bane. (although I prefer elves and chaotic alignments, that's one idea I always wanted to try out). And then I still had not had a chance to play a sorcerer, so I'll try that one out at next opportunity, and of course there's a million other Ideas.

Character sheets for most of the characters above are on my home page (see link below), either as link to 3eprofiler or as PDF.

BTW: If anyone knows who made that scripted PDF Sheed for d20M, please tell me who it was, so I can give him credit (I looked for the thread where I got the sheet from, but didn't find it anymore. It was on the d20M Room)

Currently playing:
Hellboy, playing an "embedded reporter" in the BPRD. Game is currently on hold, but should be back on next week.

Vampire: Giovanni Chronicles. My character is a Spanish count named de Rovellas. I *think* he's a Lasombra, but we're not sure.

Currently GMing:
Mutants and Masterminds
Just one session in. I think we'll need to redo some of the PCs to even things out, as none of us were familiar with the rules.

Trying to find an evening for:
Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil. I've got a hankering to run a dungeon crawl, although I'll probably transplant it to one of my D&D worlds and steampunkify it.

Still playing my oldest living PC, Uriel Sevteline, elven mage, but in other games i'm playing a hafling sorceror/rogue and a human wizard aiming for loremaster. I've made a half-elven fighter barbarian and a human monk, but i probably won't be using them. Oh yeah and i'm trying to DM an evil campaign set in Cormyr (FR) and i'm actively DM'ing another FR campaign for recently converted 2nd'ers.

About to begin a campaign of Mutants and Masterminds (my first). It's set in Freedom City, but takes a cue of the "Rise of the Midnight Sons" era of comics in the 90s and so is more of a vampire/supernatural hunters game than a traditional supers one. If all goes well with this one, we're gonna kick off a second game of MnM, but that one will be more traditional X-Men style.

PS: Maitre - Woohoo! Another Phish Phan. ;)

Setting: World of Greyhawk.

Adventure: Return to Temple of Elemental Evil

Character: Khorad ip Ehsan ip Farjad, LG Baklunish Human
Rog 4/Wiz 1/Acr 4
S16 D14 C14 I12 W10 Ch14

Non-inheriting son of a wealthy Greyhawk merchant, he is diplomatic, refined, and well-educated; but he chose athletics to define himself. He doesn't steal, but is very stealthy and capable of extreme feats of agility. Standing 6' 4" and as muscular as most warriors, he is dangerous in combat, as well.
