Let's see...

"Nicht auf Lager" - isn't that the same as "Not in Stock"?
Yes. But it indicates it might have been in stock. I am just too late. (Though not that it matters that much - I prefer to wait for Dragonworld, anyway. You know, stupid customer loyalty and so...)

Found some at a Borders in Chicago...decided not to get it when I saw the format. For $30 I want something that can take a little wear and tear, I still have Shateered Gates of Slaughtergarde and these folio adventures are, IMHO, kinda flimsy products. In my gaming environment (carried in a bag, snacks, pencils, drinks, etc.) I would appreciate something more sturdy. Just my oppinion though. So I guess I'm waiting for the corebooks.

yep, seeing as my LGS is neither f(riendly) nor in any way c(ompetent) nor offering good s(ervice), dragonworld has become my FLGS surrogate, too ;)

Ugh!.....I specifically asked my LGS to order a copy for me and save it (for Tuesday's release), so I must not purchase it from anywhere else!

I did the same thing. However I told them that if they couldn't have it ON the 20th then they shouldn't set one back for me. If they don't have a copy for me come Tuesday I will be pretty disappointed.

It's mine, mine, all mine! Eh, sorry....

Saw the first post in the thread this a.m. and raced to the local Borders. Just picked it up--had 5 on the shelf.

It's geeeeeee-orgeus (does not rhyme with Orcus).

Well, I did not go to B&N to go get it. I just went to my FLGS, asked if they minded me running a demo for them. They said they'd be delighted. So yesterday at 11:00 AM some of the judges running the D&D Worldwide Gameday and some of my friends gathered at the store and played an awesome adventure. Fun was had by all involved.

BTW, Kobolds kick ass!!!

I got shipping notice from Amazon this morning that KotS had shipped. Apparently, Amazon is going to target release day for delivery, just not guarantee it as they do with huge releases like Harry Potter books. Mine should be here Tuesday, can't wait. That also bodes well for me not having to go the weekend of June 7&8 without the core books.
