I'm pretty sure this is one of the signs of the Apocalypse.

Yeah, but as signs go, it ranks slightly above the "No Parking Here Sign of the Apocalypse" and definitely below the "Slow Children Sign of the Apocalypse"

Y'all aint from 'round here, is ya?

I was a big DoH fan when I was a young'un, but I caught a re-run of the show on TNT a few nights back. I think it caused me to lose 1d4 points of Int.

I tend to think what I said, in and of itself, was okay - but, it probably was too provacative, and I should've taken that into acc't. Actually, initially, I did take that into acc't, but everyone just kept on about it until I didn't care anymore.

Some things like this can lead to heated arguments..... Such things deserve a:

But that's over now. :) To a more pressing matter that has caught my attention:

Okay, so let me get this straight: You like RPGs, classic Transformers (and think the modern ones stink), Thundercats, the Smithsonian, Dukes of Hazzard, Star Trek (and Worf's code of honor), and think that Jessica Simpson in short-shorts is a good thing. You use my holy symbol as an avatar, and either agree with me, or take up positions that I admire, in Paladin threads. You live in North Carolina....

And you're FEMALE?!

So, um, are you going to Raleigh Game Day in April?....(and, um, are you married? ) :o

(Don't be alarmed. I'm not mental, or anything. Well, not very. ;) )

Also Star Wars as well. It's the like of both that and Trek that make up the mix of my SN. ;)

Frankly, I could care less about Jessica Simpson in short-shorts..... that comment was just too good to pass up.... :p

Actually, I started by using the Lathander symbol but decided it didn't fit with the quote in my sig from my fav PC, a cleric of Torm. It was actually her "code of conduct" that she followed when I played the character. And, after seeing a friend play a "chaotic good barbaric-acting paladin who ran crazily into combat while worshiping the god of protection, Heimdall and getting growled at by one of my DMs" is why I try to stay away from the "lawful stupid" paladin while playing my Tyrran paladin.. I also speak what I think is right about the things that I do post in. ;) Such as what I think a paladin can and can't do. I figure that I can't go too wrong with giving them the Klingon Code of Honor....

I'd like to get to Game Day. Perhaps you should come to Greensboro for Stellarcon ...... ;) That's the con I help out with, dealing with the dealers who come set up to sell their wares. And, yep, I'm single.

Topic on hand: I grew up watching the Dukes of Hazzard and it was one of the few shows I was allowed to watch in the evenings. I also, "religiously", watched Airwolf when it aired in the early/mid 80s. Dukes was just one of those "fun" shows you can watch without feeling guilt, like one poster above, abt losing 1d4 INT while watching it.... :p

Speaking of Hee Haw, I can't think of that show without hearing the song:

"Well, we're not ones to go 'round, spreadin rumours, really we're just not the gossipy kind! No, you'll never hear one of us repeating gossip, so you'd better be sure and listen close the first time!"

Still counts as a sign, though. :p
