Kalashtar Revenant question

On of my games has a new player joining us, a Revenant paladin, with a Kalashtar soul. I was going to have my Kalashtar character nickname him "One Soul", but then i got to wondering, do Kalashtar soul Revenants still retain their fragment of Quori soul?

What does the player/DM think? I think it would be up to their discretion.

I smell a potential hook, though, to retrieve his lost quori soul fragment...

Its something that im going to bring up at the start of next session whilst we are setting up etc.
I asked here because whilst it is ultimately up to the DM/that player, im wondering what others outside our game think. Is there any reference in a dragon article or in a splat book or something that would indicate one way or another? And has anyone played as/with a Kalashtar Revenant before?

Rule of cool. If you think it would be more fun that they do, go with that. If more fun if they don't, go with that. Whichever makes the best backstory and more fun in play.
