If everyone in my game dies early, can I go watch the KU game... boy I must be a gamer geek extraordinaire to schedule this! :)

I case anyone still need directions to Tabletop Games I found the phone # and address in the KC phonebook. It is 7797 Quivira and 913-962-4263.

This is more of a shameless bump than anything else.

I also have a few of those WoTC made card Games like Earthquake and whatnot laying around if anyone wants to try them. I have never played any of them, it could be fun.

Isn't the easiest way to get there from I-35 to exit on 75th Street, turn left & cross over the interstate, then hang a right on Quivira? It's a few blocks up in a shopping center on the right, in the back corner of the shopping center?

Well, it depends on where you are coming from really. But, mostly...no.

If you are on I-35 and you exit onto 75th Street, you will want to head West (which is a left IF you are coming from the South). Head West until you get to Quivira, then take a LEFT heading Southward. It is in a stripmall on the LEFT (or East) side of Quivira.

For those of you coming from Lawrence vis a vis KS HWY K-10, you should consider taking I-435 North to Midland Drive. Follow it East. It will change names and become Blackfish Dr. Continue East. It will change names, again, and become 75th. Continue East until you come to Quivira. Go right (or Southward) on Quivira. It is, still, in a stripmall on the LEFT (or East) side of Quivira.

Hope that helps and, no offence intended to Mr. Beanbag

None, taken, I simply am turned around... it's hard, sitting here in Topeka, thinking about driving in from Lawrence, to keep the lefts and rights straight! :D

It still resulted in getting accurate directions being posted, which (even if I failed) was my ultimate goal! :)

It's all coming together. Hard to believe that it's tomorrow. Great fun shall ensue, I proclaim it!

I'll see everyone there tomorrow.

On a side note, my nephew may be coming with me. I think he's 12 or 13. So, he might want to play Yu-Gi-Oh! if anyone has any, otherwise, not sure what he's going to do. I could teach him how to play D&D, I guess. :)

Just had a last minute thought....

I'm supposing that over the course of the day, some of you may want to eat. Since I only live about three blocks from the store, i thought I'd give a little run down on some of the near-by restaurants.

For Breakfast (hey, you never know): There is a Le Peep on the West side of Quivira about a block South of the store. That's it for breakfast....

In the strip mall with Tabletop is; A Taste of China, a Soup and Sandwich place, a Mexican "Soda-shop" and Domino's Pizza. Also Mezzaluna Itallian Dining. Across Quivira is Tony Ferrara's (Very good, pretty expensive).

To the South, around 87th and Quivira, is a KFC, a Taco Bell and an Imo's Pizza (better than Dominos and you can get pasta at an affordable price).

To the North, around 75th and Quivira, is a Pizza Street (buffet-style very, very inexpensive), an Old Country Buffet, El Toro (very good Mexican food) and, a Planet Sub/Yello Sub.

Hope that helps ya'll out. I'll see you a little after noon tomorrow. If anyone has any last minute questions about the area, feel free to post them and I'll answer as best I can before I hit the sack tonight.

Sean.

i guess being in slot B would the easiest to fill in, especially since slot A can have a max of 24 and slot B has a total of 12 people max, so with me it will be a max of 18. so, what to do with the other 6 people? and what about slot C? alot of in character role play? Hackie sack? we need to establish what to do instead of standing in table top for 4 hours with nothing to do.

also, how do i modify my profile so i don't have this stupid Sara the unlikely cutesie villain thing? i in life have had a great struggle with a Girl named Sara so i rally don't want to be reminded

Last minute

I know that this is last minute, but do you have to sign up before hand to be in a game, or do you just show up and stuff? Last time I was in Tabletop I didn't see a sign-up sheet, per se.
