This is my attempt at a buffing and protection based Prestige Class that combines Necromancy and Transmutation. As a kinda of "fun project" I'm trying to make a prestige class of every magic school combined with Necromancy. Note that I haven't added spell progression or saving throws yet, was planning on using those to tune the class a bit. My own suggestion at the moment would be good Will / Fortitude and half normal spell progression.
Karathan Iron Sentinel
The Karathan Iron Sentinel is an arcane caster who specializes in the magic schools of Transmutation and Necromancy. The Iron Sentinel is a frontline caster, adept at soaking up great amounts of damage and protection his allies. In the Karathan army, the Iron Sentinel's main duty is to stand right behind the troops, using his unique abilities to guard the undead minions at front. The Karathan Sentinel is not an especially adept combatant, instead relying on his minions or companions to deal with the enemy.

Requirements
To become a Karathan Iron Sentinel, a character must fulfill the following criteria.
Feats: Spell Focus (Necromancy and Transmutation)
Spells: Ability to cast the Bear's Endurance spell.

The Karathan Iron Sentinel's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Decipher Script (Int), Knowledge (all skills, taken individually) (Int), Profession (Wis), and Spellcraft (Int).

Empowered Bear's Endurance(Su): At level 1, the Karathan Iron Sentinel's Bear's Endurance spell gain an empowered effect, increasing it's target Constitution by 6 points instead of 4 points while it is in effect.
Transmutation Mastery(Ex): At level 1, the Karathan Iron Sentinel gains +2 bonus to his caster level when casting Transmutation spells.
Iron Carpet(Su): At level 2, the Iron Sentinel gains the power to guard his companions from harm for one round per Iron Sentinel level This effect will affect all allies within 20 ft. of the Iron Sentinel. All damage taken by the allies of the Iron Sentinel is reduced by 50%, while the Iron Sentinel himself suffers double damage for the duration of the effect. At level 6, the Iron Sentinel can use his Iron Carpet ability twice per day, and at level 10 he can use it three times per day. Using Iron Carpet is a swift action.
Thick Hide(Su): At level 3, the Iron Sentinel gains a +1 bonus to his Armor Class, and a +2 bonus to all his resistances for each Transmutation spell in effect on him. The maximum amount of spells that will cause this effect on the character is equal to half his Iron Sentinel level.
Necromantic Lore(Ex): At level 3, the Iron Sentinel gains access to all of the spells described below the prestige class.
Glory of Bloodshed(Su): At level 4, the Iron Sentinel is nurtured by the suffering of those around him. Whenever someone within 20 ft. of the Iron Sentinel suffers any damage, the Iron Sentinel is healed for 1d6+1 points of damage. This effect can only occour a maximum of 3 times per round.
Iron Body(Ex): At level 5, the Karathan Iron Sentinel gains Damage Reduction equal to his Constitution modifier. The Damage Reduction granted by this ability can be bypassed by Good.
Iron Throne(Su): At level 6, the Iron Sentinel gains the ability to increase the damage reduction of all allies around him. This ability gives all allies within 20 ft. of the Iron Sentinel a bonus to their Damage Reduction equal to the Constitution modifier of the Iron Sentinel. Using Iron Throne is a swift action, and the ability lasts for one round per Iron Sentinel level. At level 9, the Iron Sentinel can use his Iron Throne ability twice per day.
Unholy Constitution(Ex): At level 7 the Karathan Iron Sentinel gains a +2 Profane bonus to his Constitution. At level 9, this bonus is increased to +4.
Necromantic Weaving(Sp): At level 8, the Iron Sentinel gains the ability to imbue all his Transmutation spells with an additional Necromantic effect. The power of the Necromantic effect usually depends on the spell level of the host Transmutation spell. The following effects can be added to the Iron Sentinel's Transmutation spells. This ability only affects Transmutation spells that have a positive effect on the affected target. The duration of the Necromantic effect is the same as the duration of the Transmutation spell.
Dark Protection - The affected creature gains Vile and Negative Energy resistance equal to the spell level of the host spell times two.
Dread Shield - The affected creature gains an Profane bonus to all Fortitude Saving Throws equal to the spell level of the host spell.
Vampirism - Whenever the affected creature causes damage to an opponent with a melee attack, he will be healed of an amount of damage equal to the spell level of the host spell.
Vengeful Retribution - Whenever the affected creature is struck by a melee attack, the attacker will suffer an amount of Negative Energy damage equal to the spell level of the host spell.
Undead Fortification - The affected creature, if undead, gains Turn Resistance equal to the spell level of the host spell.
Unholy Arcanery - When the affected creature casts any damaging spell, it will cause an additional amount of Negative Energy damage equal to the spell level of the host spell.
Unnatural Regeneration - The affected creature gains an amount of Regeneration equal to the spell level of the host spell.
Blasphemous Recovery(Ex): At level 10, any effect or spell that causes damage to be healed will have double effect when affecting the Karathan Iron Sentinel.
Martyrdom(Su): At level 10, the Iron Sentinel can choose to take unto himself any damage caused to any allied creature within 20 ft. This ability can be used a maximum of once per round. The Iron Sentinel can wait untill damage is rolled before he takes upon himself the damage caused to his ally. It is not possible for the Iron Sentinel to take upon himself part of the damage caused, only a whole attack can be transferred through the use of this ability.

For the duration of the spell, the affected creature can spend a full round action to eat from any corpse near him. The corpse must not have been dead for longer than 7 days. Each full round spent eating from the corpse causes the target to be healed for 1d6+1 points of damage.

Bloodthirst causes the affected creature to become instilled with a ferocious thirst for blood and battle. For the duration of the spell, the affected creature gains a +6 enhancement bonus to Strength and Dexterity. The target also has his critical threat range increased by one point. Any critical hit causes be a melee attack from the affected target will cause an additional 1d6+1 points of Negative Energy damage. Bloodthirst only lasts for as long as it is fueled by constant bloodshed. If a full round passes where the affected target fails to cause damage to an opponent, the spell will end immediately.

Sinister Blade will affect one weapon, imbuing it with one of several possible effects. The specific effect is chosen by the caster when the spell is cast, and can not be changed after the spell has been cast.
Unhallowed Edge: The weapon will cause an additional 1d6+1 points of Negative Energy damage to any creature it strikes. Additionally, all damage caused by the weapon is unhealable. Only if the target stands within a Hallow effect can he be healed of the damage caused by the weapon.
Negative Surge: The weapon will cause a blast of Negative Energy when it damages an opponent. If the weapon causes damage to an opponent, a blast of Negative Energy will strike all targets within 5 ft. of the injured target, causing 2d6+2 points of Negative Energy to all affected.
Painbringer: The weapon will cause terrifyingly painful wounds on those it strikes. Anyone struck by the weapon must succeed at a Fortitude Saving Throw (DC is equal to the damage caused). If the target fails his Saving Throw, he becomes Stunned for 1 round as he is crippled by pain.
It is possible for multiple castings of Sinister Blade to affect the same weapon.
Material Component: Various herbs and small gems worth 500 gp. in total.. in total.
