Karathan Legion
The Karathan Legion are Necromancers who specialise in the animation of undead. The Karathan Legion serve a vital role in the defence of the Karathan University as they are responsible for the animation and maintenance of the bulk of the army which surrounds the compound. Having spent years studying the principles of animation, the Karathan Legion are able to create highly specialised undead minions that can perform specific tasks in the Karathan army. Unlike most of the other prestige classes of the Karathan University, the Karathan Legion focuses not on developing his own power, but on spreading it out to the minions he creates.

Personal Note

I didn't add any spell-progression to the class yet, but naturally I intend for the class to have spells. I just wanted to hear if it seems too powerful to gain normal spell progression, or if I have to reduce the amount of spells given to the class. As you may notice, I created the class to "fill a gap" which I think exists for a Necromancer which completely focuses on the animation of undead (I wouldn't be surprised if someone knows of a class that is similar though, I don't have alot of D20 books as my economy outright sucks).

Yeah, I agree that it is a very "liberal" use of the word Legion in the prestige class name. I kinda figured it would pass, since the character represents the legion under his command.

Regarding spell progression, my own suggestion on the PrC is something along the lines of full spell progression, but only with spells from the school of Necromancy.

Perhaps "Centurion" would convey the idea better without being confusing. Still has the conotation of legions of soldiers, but without the confusing language.

Other than that looks good,
