Karen Wynn Fonstad passes away

That's truly sad, I own the FR, DL, and ME works she put out.

It is a shame more worlds could not be detailed by her.

That is really sad; I loved her ME Atlas so much; but won`t she live on in this world and those fantasy worlds through her marvellous work?
Actually, I wanted to sell my 1986 ME Atlas away for some new books; I`m keeping it now. May God bless you and your family!

Sad news indeed. Her FR Atlas was (and still is, to an exent) my personal launch pad to adventuring in the Forgotten Realms. As a DM, I used it extensively to further my understanding of the geography of the realms and as a primer for launching adventures there. Her work was superb.

Absolutely no book made me more interested in FR than her FR Atlas.
