Kendo in Blood and Fist

Frank + Chuck,

thanks to both of you for answering my questions!

F&B just went on my must-have list.

I'll have to admit, the reason I asked, is because I've wanted for a long time now to do a GI Joe campaign. I had buried that thought for time being, until I saw your post on the classes in "Blood and Guts" and thought "Wow, exactly what I need!". :)
Since I also would have to include the (in)famous ninjas of the comics of course, I went "And what would be better than a supplement by the same author?". So, thanks for proving me right! :D

And now "blood and terror":

AAARGH! IT MUST BE MINE!!! ;)

[One question, unfortunately, still remains: Is there any way for a guy from germany to get your products without a credit card or a money order? (Last time I did that, the fee was 15$.]

Hi Frank,

this is what Chuck gave us on "Blood and Guts":

Blood and Guts brings the action of military combat into the d20 Modern game! Blood and Guts includes new feats, skills, and occupations for military based campaigns, as well as a Prestige Class for the predominant Special Operations units: Army Rangers, Delta Force, Special Forces, Combat Controllers, Pararescue, Force Recon, Navy SEALs, and others. Blood and Guts also includes rules for military rank and promotion, military medals and decorations, as well as an array of new weapons and equipment.

Also a list of classes:

Air Force Combat Controllers
Air Force Pararescue
Army Rangers
Army SOAR
Army Delta Force
Army Special Forces (“Green Berets”)
Special Forces Communication Sergeant
Special Forces Engineering Sergeant
Special Forces Intelligence Specialist
Special Forces Medical Sergeant
Special Forces Weapons Sergeant
Marine Force Recon
Navy SEALs
Navy Special Boat Unit
Sniper
Strategist
Top Gun

[EDIT: Just found the link to the preliminary table of contents: B&G ToC]

Hope this helps!

Hmm, sounds good. I might get a copy of that for my games.

But for now, I need to work on that feudal japan setting.. *sigh*

Thanks by the way,
Frankto

EDIT: By the way, you guys who read this, has anybody of you made an Hanmei-type game as suggested in Blood and Fist? I'm curious to see how these went. If you have, please tell me here.

No problem!

And please remember: If you create any new styles, post them in "Houserules", so I can steal..., ah, check them out. ;)

Ah? Well, I already have some maneuver/signature move for Thai Kickboxing and some Ki feats... I think I made a Jittejutsu style too, but I'm not sute.

This is all great stuff guys- its really gratifying to see a game get this kind of a response :)

For the person from Germany- I will hunker down with my publisher and will have an answer for you in 48 hours or less- there has to be a way to hook you up :)

Chuck

Thanks to you! If you didn't make Blood and Fist, I wouldn't have made this stuff and would still be thinking of a way to add a cool martial arts system to D20 Modern :D

Frankto

EDIT: I made some other feats, if you guys are interested. The address is a couple of pose above.

RE-EDIT: By the way Chuck, in your example, Punisher has a BAB of +16/+11/+6, but it whould be +16/+11/+6/+1. I just thought you'd like to know that Bob get his arse kicked even more (75 average damage per round).
