Kickstarter to recreate Norse Art from Deities and Demigod

Hey Guys,

RPG Art legend Jeff Dee is doing a Kickstarter to recreate the Norse Pantheon art from Deities and Demigod (the originals were destroyed by some TSR flunky back in the day)

He needs your help. Please give it a look

If TSR destroyed it, shouldn't Hasbro pay? They never actually went through bankruptcy (I don't think), so any liabilities should have lived on.

I'm not getting this - why does he need thousands of dollars to draw his old art? Surely ink isn't that expensive.

This just seems like a fancy way of selling his artwork to people.

Snark aside, I just don't understand this. I loved the old art. Still, I can't wrap my mind around paying the artist to recreate it exactly and then not getting prints. This is what I have a photocopier for.

Now, paying him to draw something new in the same vein? That'd be cool.

Admin here. Two other notes. Mike, adding smilies doesn't make something insulting be not insulting through the miracle of passive aggressiveness. If you think someone is being a jerk, please report a post. And Kitcik, that giant font? We call this threadcrapping, when you go into someone's positive thread and poop all over it. It's fine to express a negative opinion or to disagree with someone. It's not fine to do so in a way that someone thinks "Wow, they're kind of being jerky." That's what I thought when I read your post -- and I actually agree with you.
