Kill your television

Nothing that a simple label or piece of tape wouldn't cure. :) After all, most TV's you want to kill are the variety that stay on 24-7, and get one channel or piped feed, so all the Best-buys, etc. have to do is block the IR port.

It strikes me as a particularly churlish kind of device, personally. I'd rather either leave, or ask someone to turn it off, rather than be the group conscious for a public place.

But it's amusing to see people run around trying to figure out what went wrong and why the televisions won't stay on...

I couldn't resist - I ordered one. I'll let you know how it works when it arrives.

Kill your EVERYONE'S television.

I'm thinking about getting one too- I haven't owned a tv in over a decade.

Call me subservsive.

Subversive.

Actually, not owning/watching as much TV is getting more popular, especially since there aren't as many good TV shows on (I'm looking at you, reality TV).

One exception, though, is "Arrested Development."

You say that like it's a bad thing... :\

I think of it as possibly saving lives and certainly saving brain cells. It's a public service, I tell ya! ;)
