Yeah, I meant young Wiggum, which is why I didn't say "chief Wiggum PI...G" instead of plain "Wiggum PI...G."
 




I'm confused (paticuarly by 'alternate roller sequence'). Something about gameshows wasn't it?

But if I have deciphered what was wrote correctly, then yes it could be interesting to put PCs through some sort of lethal game show.
Probably wouldn't work in most campaign settings though.
 

Felikeries, there is a slight possibility that I am understanding a portion of what you wrote. If this is the case, please don't tell me, as that would scare me. But on the off chance that it might help you, I think you might be looking for a game like Xcrawl.

Check out the reviews on EN World. Basically, it is a d20 game where you play characters in a game show, being run through dungeons as a public spectacle. The risks to the PCs are real, but so are the rewards. I have not played it myself, but it sounds sort of like what you might be suggesting. Or something.

If that is what he's getting at, then yes, XCrawl is exactly what he's looking for. But I still can't make sense of the initial post... :\
