PF2E Kingmaker Adventure Path's Cover Art

Paizo has shared Wayne Reynolds’ cover art for the upcoming Kingmaker Adventure Path compilation which is coming later this year for Pathfinder 2E and D&D 5E.

"Last year, we ran a crowdfunding campaign for a second edition version of one of our most popular Pathfinder Adventure Paths: Kingmaker. For several months, the task of gathering the text, generating new text, and tackling the initial conversions from first to second edition Pathfinder (and fifth edition!) were in the hands of our partners over at Legendary Games, but now the entire project is in our hands and we’re finalizing the updates, developing and editing the text, and building up what’s going to be one of the largest projects we’ve ever attempted at Paizo. The adventure path compilation itself is the size of the second edition Core Rulebook`, and it’s only one of the books and support products we’ll be creating in the months to come!"

I like Starfinder and Pathfinder has got some good ideas, but the candence of translation into Spanish by Devir Iberia is too slow.

What do you think about Paizo publishing any more sourcebooks for 5th Ed? For example monster manuals, occult adventures and the new base clases. Or something like Unearthed Arcana with the special rules for Pathfinder.

Here is the "Game on Tabletop" campaign Kingmaker 10th Anniversary (Paizo Inc.) that was done last year. The books will mainly be for Pathfinder 2nd edition but there is a 5th ed bestiary book to aid in a conversion for those that want to run it in 5th.
There's also an add-on PF1 book to aid conversion for those who want to run it in PF1. So they're reaching for a pretty broad audience.

Hopefully it'll be successful enough to encourage them to do it again!

It is easily one of the more memorable APs. Is anyone going in on this who did in it PF1 and plan on doing it again? I am interested to know if people really want to do an AP twice.

I would do it again, but this time in PF2 (or possibly 5e) and with a different group of players. Also, to be fair, we only got through about 3/4ths of it the first time.

This adventure path would work well using the Forbidden Lands rules. Hex crawl, check, building up your stronghold, check.

My group did (PF1 both times now), though every time we hit a slow patch now during the second run-through we switch out for another game for a few weeks.

I wish that Paizo did 5e versions of their APs. Their APs tend to be head and shoulders above the WotC adventure books.
