KOTS: Only 3 PCs, suggestions?

Just curious, are you still using PrRC with KotS?

Hmm... I used it to help make the characters when I first made 'em. I think I also looked at it when I leveled 'em up. (not to belittle all the work you've done, it's a great collection. Thanks! ) I've got my own notes for DMing, though.

I am also running with 3 players.

Has anyone tried the idea of allowing an action point per encounter?

This effectively gives the party 6 standard actions in the first round, similar to a 5 person party without any available action points.

That's not bad. I'm not sure it'll be enough to make up the difference, but it's a good ploy.
