Kryptonian template?

All right, we have Superman, there's been Krypto the superdog, a super-horse, cat, monkey, and god knows what else- sounds like what we need is a Kryptonian template.

I propose that we work it up together, with the caveat that its basic benefits are halved under an orange sun, increased to 150% under a white sun and doubled under a blue sun... and, naturally, removed under a red sun.

To begin with, it can obviously be applied to humanoids, animals and monstrous humanoids (wasn't Doomsday Kryptonian?)... what about other types?

I'd say it gives the following modifications: Str +1000, Dex +100, Con +1000, Int +8 (based on the animals being much smarter than their normal counterparts); natural armor +500; flight (speed tbd) at will (free action to activate), x-ray vision as the ring (is it in 3e? -idhmbifom) at will, shoot fire from the eyes to 200' (damage tbd)...

What else? What do you think? Anyone want to help here?

Anyways, you have to add kryptonite vulnerability, see, green is like poison, red (I think) has a random effect negative effect, but is rarely lethal, and blue? hmm...

Hey, that's not a bad idea! The Bat- template, so you'd get like a batdog, etc. Hmmm, well I already did the radioactive spider victim template a while back...

Blue, by the way, only affects creatures with the Kryptonian template that also have the Bizzaro template...

The two aren't very similar. The one in FCTF is relatively extensive. Plus, it uses some of the new concepts introduuced in that book.

Str+1000 is really overdoing it. That's 10^59 times stronger than a normal human. That's 59 zeroes behind the 1. Superman can lift perhaps a few thousand or ten thousand tons. Str+90 is about right.

Frankly, if I was going to do something like this, I would make Superman a half-celestial DvR 2 demigod with 20 Paladin levels. I'd probably give him a unique salient divine ability called Kryptonian or Man of Steel and Divine Celerity to represent his explosive speed.

I'd make Batman a 20th level Fighter, 20th level Rogue, and probably give him the Ninja PrC or Red Avenger PrC (10 in either) since I don't see him as LG but as CG. His Int and Wis and Chr would be extremely high... around 22 or so.

Wonder Woman would be a sentient 30 HD golem with 10 levels of Fighter and 10 levels of Barbarian.

Lex Luthor would have an extremely high Int... around 22 (I've never seen him as smarter than Batman). Probably just give him Aristocrat levels and access to artifacts.

The Joker would have 5 Fighter, 20 Rogue, and 20 Assassin levels... I'd consider trading in some of those levels for Book of Vile Darkness class levels.

The Cheetah would probably be a half-fiend with some special powers while I'd make Circe a 40th level Transmuter.

This is assuming we're talking about Epic levels of course...
