"Hello, names Razin. glad you could join us. would eather of you have some water perhaps?" Razin will ask with a smile and a polite nod to them both.

Ximix reaches for his waterskin, suddenly thirsty, as if just noticing he has been working hard (and talking harder) for some time now.

Behind Manon a half-orc follows. He wears chainmail and has a heavy wooden shield strapped to his back, and a longsword at his side. He wears a holy symbol of Hyrag around his neck.

"Greetings," he says. "My name is Garrit Kelspire, paladin of Hyrag."

Taking a deep draught as Garrit speaks, Ximix eyes the halfbreed for a moment before standing aside and gesturing to the rocks arrayed in the dirt above the hole.
"Did your training include any ancient Lore?" his manner is curt and formal, then he glances back at the two newcomers and frowns briefly.
"I am called Ximix (ooc: pronounced zimix), I am a priest of The Arcane. Did Manon detail what has transpired thus far?"

"Rich, what is going on here? I thought you said you had hired help. It seems to me that all we have is a bunch of snoopy treasure seekers. I won't stand for it."

"No, Richard. I told you that I helped dig these holes. We thought they might contain clues about what happened to you. These others must be the help Manon left to retrieve."

His question to the newcomers interrupted, Ximix fixes the recupperating human with his typical stare, "Is it possible that you recognize these stones, Richard Tey?"

"Yes we are! Manon explained to us your situation and we decided to come to help...
We hope we can solve this quickly and not disturb your way of life for too long..."
replies Jallembo with his best and warmest smile, that drifted in the direction of Julia
maybe a little bit more than usual.

"The dig proved valuable! Look what we found!" he continues taking a couple of stones
and walking briskly to the farmer couple. "Do you know them?? Huh? Have you seen
them before?? They've been burried very recently.. 'Was wondering if you folks had put
them in there??"
he asks putting the stones right under their nose!

seeming about to speak manon is interrupted by the upset richard, "Sir, I resent being called a snoopy treasure seeker. I have come here with no other intent than to simply aid those who can not aid themselves. If my help is not required then i will be glad to take my leave!" the rogue states in a calm but slightly menacingly cool voice, eyes narrowing almost angrily. pushing himself off the tree he waits for richards response giving him a questioning stare as if any sort of wrong answer might simply result in the rogue storming off back to the bar.

"I have studied matters of religion, some of it ancient," he says.

Ximix glances from Manon to Richard, then over to Garrit.
"These stones," the Elf gestures, indicating the stone held by Jallembo and the pair on the ground, "were dug up - then re-buried. Richard was found near the resulting loosened earth and our curiosity overcame us, so we dug them back up. All three were in this hole, the other hole apparently empty... perhaps a miscalculation by the digger on the first attempt? Can you decipher the runes upon them?"

Richard weakly tries to bat Jellembo away. No, I don't recognize those stones. I don't see any reason why I should. I am so very impressed. You dug a hole and found rocks. Snoopy treasure seekers.

"I certainly think that would be for the best. I for one think that we can take care of ourselves. We don't need your help."

Both Rich Gorth and Julia Tey immediately react with stricken faces. Rich responds. "Richard please don't speak so rashly. I think it would be well for you to remember how you woke up today."

OOC: Garrit recognizes the symbols on the stones. The first symbol, the one shared by two of the stones means, "Foresight." The second symbol means, "to map."

Garrit Kelspire, Paladin 2 of Hyrag

"I believe the symbol on these stones means 'Foresight'," he says, gesturing to the two stones that share the same symbol. "The other means 'to map'. I wonder what that means."

He addresses Richard Tey, "I am servant of the Lightbringer. Light, life, and healing are my main concerns, sir."

Ximix stares off into the trees, lost in thought as usual as the conversations clash about him.

The Elf's face brightens, he smiles towards Garrit and mumbles something quietly in Elvish, then his voice strengthens and he shifts languages to common, " . . . and your Light of Knowledge and Learning are worthy of Russna's gifts young champion. His eyes focussed in an intense stare, Ximix continues to smile at the halfbreed as the others quarrel. Finally he shifts his wide gaze to the stones once more, trying to recall more information, hoping Garrit's revelation will jog something loose.
OOC: Knowledge: Religion roll again...17 still not earth-shattering, but with Garrit's info, maybe?
