L4W Discussion Thread III

After much agonising I have started a possible second character - a razorclaw shifter predator druid. He/she will probably be from Kythera but I can see no background benefit for the island. Is it a viable starting point or has there just not been no background decided for it?

Kythera is viable for a character origin. I just think we never got around to creating a L4W Background benefit for it. You can use one of the PHB2 backgrounds (such as Geography: Forest) if you want.

As far as I know, the only character from Kythira so far is my avenger, Tristan. I just used a PHB2 background, since I couldn't find a L4W background. If you can think of a good L4W-type background for Kythira, I encourage you to propose it :)

Darnit! You totally ninja'd my 2nd character idea Digger. Oh well, nothing says there can't be a couple shifter druids anyway, unless I come up with some other idea before I get around to making the character.

Heck, get enough of us shifter druid's together, and you have a full party! After all, druid's have some healing and some striking ability, so it's not as far-fetched as it sounds. All we'd be missing is a solid defender.

Plus, how cool would it be when every combat starts with six shifters morphing into beasts and leaping at the enemies throats?
