L5R Fiction Question

What ever happened to Ginawa? He was a ronin who owned one of the four Iuchiban blades. Kinda like a mean Lone Wolf of Samurai Jack type of character.

I was reading some of the L5R fiction and didn't see him mentioned at all, but realize that time flies in those books so perhaps he's been dead for a while or something else.

After the Battle of Oblivion's Gate, he joined the newly-recreated Akodo family to serve as their daimyo. He gave up Revenge, IIRC, though I don't remember who ended up with the thing. Probably the Phoenix or the Scorpion. As of the end of the Four Winds story arc, he's still around.

Thanks for the information.

He's gotta be pretty old now though as the timeline between Clan Wars and Four Winds is pretty far.

Is he actually in any of the Four Winds books or is he really just a minor character who was cool once upon a time?

Revenge is well hidden away now. Lord Akodo Ginawa is trying to make sure no one else ends up with it. He shows up in the Akodo Kaneka book a little, but is pretty old and well past being a hands on warrior. Kaneka is his designated heir.
