Mainly because I like watching the debate raging back and forth right now.

Huh. To each his own, obviously, but I can't imagine getting any enjoyment out of watching people discuss something that I personally dislike. Especially when the majority of the discussions are at least mostly positive (which, at least in the 4E forum, they have been; not universally, of course, but largely).

there is in actuality very little debate "back and forth" for 4th edition.

the GREAT MAJORITY of negative posts that I've seen are misconceptions and baseless hopes along the lines of "4th doesn't provide rules for roleplaying pet dolphins! 4th edition hinders roleplaying!"
