Large creature bullrush

What happens when when a large creature wins a bull rush and pushes back a medium creature, and another medium creature is in the path of the large creature?

L is large creature. Succesfully Bullrushes M2. But is limited to pushing M2 back 5' because it will collide with M1.

When that happens, put your miniature in the last legal position you occupied, or the closest legal position, if there’s a legal position that’s closer.

Sadly, the bull rush manuever does not allow for pushing back 2 or more creatures. One more reason why it BRing is a move rarely worth the opportunity cost.
