Big scrunchy multi-post, for convenience' sake.
Planar Handbook. Exotic weapon, 500gp, base damage of 2d6, crit range of 18-20 x2, weighs 13 lbs., does slashing damage. Mostly found in Mount Celestia, but, of course, can be had anywhere, really.
Sadly, no. Dragon # 313 is the only place I've seen them, though they're quite sweet...especially since, as written, you get all the stat adjustments for gaining the size category, which stack with the template stat adjustments. And they're *still* a +1 LA, which means they're probably hideously undervalued.
When our Birthright campaign started, the ranger who was our primary tank used two greatswords, two-weapon style, with the old version of Monkey Grip. It was sort of cool, but not especially. The DM was allowing revisions at that point, so that got edited out later.
