videogamestar200 said:hi, I am fairly experienced at larps (I have been doing larps for abit more than a year and a half. My group started out using wooden, we then switched to live steel, then someone had a really good idea and came along with the boffer weapon. So, I am seeking a quest of how to make the perfect boffer weapon for larps. I have tried the normal PVC pipe and foam, but it wobbles too much, I have used wooden dowels, but they break, I am trying to avoid PVC and dowel rods combined because the weight will be too great (it will hit people really hard) I then came upon carbon fibre, but if broken, it will cause lots of trouble with lungs and skin.... so, I would really like to know how to make the perfect boffer weapon. (boffer weapons will be used for full contact, not just for show)
