Another editing error
Speaking of editing errors at the bottom of page 74, note: "Matthias Creel is an emissary from...based in the Free City of Greyhawk". From what I understand of the new edition, Greyhawk is not part of the world any longer. I know this could be a generic city named "Greyhawk" and not THE Greyhawk, but it seems sloppy to leave this kind of thing in a converted adventure when we are trying to get people excited about the new stuff. Why not simply change the names completely and avoid any notion of the old-timey stuff at all? I mean we went through all the trouble of getting that stuff out of the PH why go backwards now?
Wotc keeps shooting itself in the foot with things like this and those Paazo guys keep laughing at them for it. Ugh...I'm trying here I really am...
Anyway, the 3E version of this adventure was excellent. Loved the use of Dagon, especially with the material from Fiedish Codex I that explained who Dagons roomate in the Abyss was. Good times.
