Christiansen and McGregor fighting and twirling on a giant green block in front of a giant green wall. The most anticipated duel of the prequels and they couldn't even be bothered to build a set for it.

At least we'll get to see Anakin in a starfighter and the one-on-three lightsaber fighting looks like it might be cool. The three guys were in full green body suits so I wonder what kind of aliens they're supposed to be.

At about the 31 sec mark, we get a good view of Anakin. If you look closely, it looks like his eyes have no pupils. They are totally white. I wonder if it's just because of the video quality, or if he in fact has solid white eyes for some reason.

Oh I don't know about that Kai Lord. Whether the set is constructed or digital, as long as the action and emotion comes off fine there shouldn't be a problem.

I know...I know...based on the previous prequels, that may be asking for a lot.

The clip certainly makes me more hopeful for the film. But I have been duped in the past.

Engage guarded optimism.

Yep, me too. I mean what kind of a quack is Lucas that he won't actually be filming the movie inside of some sort of active volcanoe crater. Its all gone downhill since ROTJ where they actually built the entire Emperor throne room with the pit and everything.

One of these days Kai I would love to see you produce a movie just to see your arrogant holier than thou movie critic attitude really in action. Then maybe you will change your tone about movies made by those vastly better than you.

To my eye, it's difficult for me to tell exactly what's digital and what isn't in most of the Starwars movies. As long as it looks real and doesn't kill my ability to be immersed in the movie, I don't really care if it's made in a computer or out of popsicle sticks.

I think SW films rely on digital effects far too much, to the point of making it painfully obvious sometimes.

The LotR movies made it very clear that using actual sets, make-up and the occasional animatronic for key elements in addition to CGI produces a much better result.
