The ghastly figure emerges slowly enough that you can all react. (DM rolled a 1).

And you may want to remember, gems and crown...

In an unusual burst of lighting speed, Sim quickly formulates/proposes a plan. He will move up, using his new power from the RuinBlade, he will shroud his comrades in a cloak of darkness (burst 5) and blind the dead god until the end of his next turn (enemies only). He will also mark the dead god with his Aegis. If Forge can remember NOT to mark it when he attacks, the dead god should have around a -7 to hit (assuming it does not have Blindsight or Termersense) and with the possibility of reduced damage on a hit due to Sim’s Shielding Aegis.

While Forge engages and delays the dead god with the support of the human (with little or no HS's left, the Cat should probably hang back in reserve and, if needed, move up later). Sim will maintain the shroud for additional rounds (but it’s a standard action) and with the help of Buckthorn’s thievery skills (which seem to work on everything) place the gems in the crown in the proper order. This is, if Buckthorn can figure out which gem goes where Sim will move and put the gems in their proper places since he has all the gems.

You move forward and call forth the darkness.

(Note to the spellsword and ranger: you think you need to be at the top of and on the skull or on the crown points to place the gems).

Dwarf, you strike the dead god of death. I assume you don't mark it.

Both the contact, and the proximity, give you a mildly necrotic vibe (and that is now a vibe you are quite familiar with.)

But, you notice no immediate ill effects.

Rules reminder: you have combat advantage against the being while it can't see. Not that the dwarf needed it.

Buckthorn

First Post
Buckthorn will take a move action and approach the Crown point closest to him (1 squares north).

He will take a minor action to attempt to place a gem in one of the corresponding holes (Thievery) (31) assuming Sim moves up and gives him the gems.

For his standard, he will sneak attack Nerull with Trick Shot. (34 to hit). 31 Damage and target is knocked prone if a hit.

Allowyn moves down 3 between Leandre and Sim and hands Sim an Elixir of Aptitude (+3 power bonus to one skill for 1 hour) "This should aid you and Buckthorn in your endeavor"

The warlord then calls out to everyone "While he is blind, hit him with everything you've got" (War Master's Assault - close burst 3, catches everyone, free charge or basic attack with +6 to hit, +6 damage) He then charges the god, ending next Forge.

Forge and Simorai get +11 to hit (+6 for assault, +2 for CA, +2 for adj to Allowyn and +1 because the god hasn't acted)
Buckthorn gets +9 to hit, +6 damage

Allowyn charge: 54 to hit, 35 damage (forgot the +6 in roll20)

Leandre forgoes the free charge and spends his movement and actions to grab Sim ever so gently in his mouth and drag him up near the crown.

Allowyn is prepared to use Bolstering Insight if Forge gets hit too hard in the next round.
