Sim gives Buckthorn another save using Swift Mender. Using his arcane knowledge he attempts to place a gem (if good fortune is shining maybe two?) in the proper slot (crit). Sim shifts to the next gem location (+1 AC and Ref).

Sim, as you place the two stones, you also unleash dark spirits that lash out at everyone in the party. You, the halfling, and the dwarf (and maybe the great cat) are all dazed. (and 21 dmg) Only the warlord (and maybe the cat) resist the effect.

Allowyn encourages Forge to toughen up (Inspiring Word, surge+23, +6 temp hp and a save). Then moves next to Nerull and attacks with Slash and Press (40 v AC, 21 damage) pushing him further away from buckthorn and sim. Leandre (does he resist the effect? does he need to save?) the moves and unleashes a great roar (29 v Fort, 31 damage and pushed 3 more squares if hit).

Now Sim thinks he understands why you need to be on the skull to place the gems.

Get off the skull and crown if you can. Each time a gem is placed I think the dark spirits attack anyone on the skull and crown.

Buckthorn, Simorai, and Allowyn are done for this round.

Leandre, who is dazed and suffering from the deadly pain curse, moves (attack missed anyways...) needs to make 2 saves: 1 vs ongoing, and 1 vs daze.

Forge needs to save vs. the healing curse, then save vs daze and the ongoing. And take his turn.

Sims zone of darkness is gone.

forge failed against the healing curse, made the save against dazed and failed against ongoing damage. Free save on ongoing damage makes it. Forge will move to the south of nerull and bash and pummel him. 43 and 38 vs AC. Assuming one of them hits, Forge knocks him prone and rolls a 40 for his free attack.

Damage (17,19 for bash attacks and 30 for the free attack). Plus he's prone. He's got his shield edge block and reactive surge ready if he needs them.

Forge, you bash the undead god and shed a few of the conditions. (your save sequence is a little confusing, I think the free save came first..but anyways, I have him taking the ongoing then ending it....also remind me of your various damage resistances...).

Nerul rises up and strikes! Somehow, the warlord maintains his halo, and this just throws off this particular death god. His wild swing does crush into the dwarf, but with that the lord of death just ends its turn. (ongoing 10 is back, this is separate from healing curse). Forge uses his reactive surge, but not the shield block (roll of 18).

Everyone but Buckthorn still has a save penalty. If you have a condition, you probably need to save vs it.

With his action, Sim calls forth the Darkness again and blinds the dead god. Sim makes his save for the daze. (Sim has his Natural origin so resist 5 and +2 saves. He also reduces ongoing damage by 9). Remember to move off the skull and crown.

Once again Sim calls out from the darkness, You had your chance forgotten god of nothing. When we are done with you no one will even remember your name.
