As an IR from his Strikeback Gauntlets, Sim slashes at the dead god (39 vs. AC (Sim will use Insightful Riposte if needed), 44 damage (assuming this thing counts as an undead)). Sim will move it back as well.

Not bad for a dead, has-been, belly-crawler.

Sim is doing something, but in the meantime...

When Sim does his reaction, he feels that tinge the others have (of his ongoing going up)

It was prone, and slowed! hence the snakelike reference and Sim's comment. Once that power was done, past Forge, it stood up.

Forge misses with the challenge.

On his turn, Sim activates Borrowed Confidence and draws his own symbol of pain (turn undead, 33 or 36 (if he didn’t use Insightful Riposte) vs. will, 68 damage on a hit and he moves it 3 squares and it’s immobilized until the end of his next turn, half damage on a miss (no move or immobilize)). Sim shifts to the next gem slots (+1 AC and Ref), action points and places (2 more?) gems (crit). Sim misses his save.

Edit: Human you are still on the skull!

You unleash a massive blast of holy energy! Has a limited effect, especially given the things now shadowy form.

You place the gem, and have filled that half of the crown. You have to go where Nerul is know for the last two. For your 20 however, you think that placing the gems will not only fully open the portal, it will also cut the power of the dead dead god, who wouldn't last long in its current state. (without placing the gems is a different story).

EDIT: As you fail the save, your condition deteriorates. (now slowed and weakened).

EDIT EDIT: (left our all the good stuff) The dark spirits have little effect, clearly the result of your arcane skill (i was going to apply a penalty, but it didn't matter).

Allowyn moves up next to Nerull. He tries a rousing assault against the god. (37 v. AC, 26 damage if hit)

He calls out to all his companions "Now is the time to prove our mettle. Rally with me and return this god to his rightful resting place!" (stand tough, surgeless healing burst 5, +16 HP, (+22 if the rousing assault hits) should be everyone, bring leandre back up as well?)

Then he action points (all allies get +1 defenses until my next turn) and attacks again with Control the Field, marking the god. (44 vs AC (will heroic effort to 48 if necessary) 36 damage, and 10 ongoing save ends. while adj to me, he takes a -6 penalty to saves against ongoing) He does not save vs. ongoing. Allowyn is ready to use bolstering insight if it keeps the cat from going down again.

If Leandre is brought back, he'll stand and charge. 39 vs AC, 28 vs AC, 24 damage if the first one hits.

Still benefiting from its shadow form, the first attack misses. Everyone needs to save vs. the healing curse. (there is a penalty, depending on where you are, and a bonus...just make the check).

Allowyn (and the cat if it does not save) see their ongoing increase with their hits.

Buckthorn

First Post
Buckthorn (apparently rattled by fighting this dead god) shoots at Nerull with Twin Strike. Probably two misses (32 and 28 to hit). And he fails his save against healing curse (rolls a 1).

Forge moves up and brash strikes Nerul for 31 damage. He fails his first attempt to save against the ongoing but uses dauntless ensurance to reroll it and gets an 18 hopefully ending it.

He gets a 10 on his save for the healing magic.
