Legend of Cataya (Part1.)

[Q-Ball]

The land of Cataya is being invaded by greenskins. The people fear they will be overrun. King Midor wants to get the greenskins before they have a chance to ravage his lands. He decides to hire everyone who is willing to fight for his country for 100 gp each after the battle is done.

Many people found this a generous offer and decided to go along with it. After having set up a massive army of fighters and other warriors Midor decides its time to strike those foul greenskins. The battle commences and it seems to be in a winning situation but just when things are looking bright the greenskins employ a secret weapon and turn the battle to their hand.

You are among the wounded who are now being healed in the Temple of Clairview. A border city of Cataya. The king now once again stand in front of you and asks for your help to find the war counselor which has been taken by the greenskins. The king offers the massive amount of 250 gp each for finding Wormur (The counselor).

 

[Q-Ball]

When you all wake up from your long slumber you find yourself in a strange room. It is a big room and has several people in it, mostly injured though. Your in a bed that is not very comfortable. and beside your bed is a box.

The room receives light through the roof. In the roof theres a bright drawing of a sun that lets through light.

The first one to wake up is Elena. As you wake up you have taken a serious beating. A beating that lead you near the edge of death.

You hear a sister singing a chant in a human language. But not the language you would normally expect from humans. Her tone is slightly different. Her voice is softer than that of normal human beings.

Soon after you wake up you see 2 other people waking up. Theres one person in front of you. (Thelenor) and one who is a couple of beds away. (Shelton)

Shelton has a mayor headache as if something blunt has hit you with a tremendous force.

Thelenor sees while looking at his arm that alot of it has been sown together. That is however the only pain you feel.

 

[Sullaf]

Thelenor looks around with curious interest. In a melodic voice he greets the rest "Well met strangers. I seem to be lost. Do any of you know where we are?"

 

[Nuke261]

Shelton speaks while trying not to move his throbbing head, "I do not even remember how I got here. uhhh..." He moans slightly, nauseous from trying to sit up.

 

[Sullaf]

"Well it seems you are in quite the same predicament as I am. And at the sound of things you seem to be hurt pretty badly. Do you remember how that happened?" Thelenor, suddenly realizing there is a woman present quickly refocuses his attention "Oh my, I'm being rather rude. Fair lady please do tell me your name, or how you came to be here. Are you hurt as well?"

Thelenor looks for any sign of wounds on both strangers and then quickly glances around to see if his equipment is in the room.

 

[Nuke261]

"I must have been hurt in that huge battle with the greenskins. Yes, things were just begining to look alright when we were overrun by them. Were all of you in the fight as well?"
While talking, Shelton tries to sit up. After wincing in pain he thinks better of it, propping on his side, instead.

 

[Q-Ball]

Thelenor looks around the room and sees no trace of any equipment that might have been his. He does however notice that there are a total of 12 people lying here.

As soon as the nurse hears people talking she breaks the hymn and turns around. "I was beginning to think noone would wake up anymore. Im go glad." She then walks towards Thelenor and looks at his arm. As she walks over you notice that she is has a beautyfull smile along with beautifull blue eyes. Hmmmz.... You are so lucky they didnt break a nerve or something. It couldve resulted in never being able to use your hand ever again. But the hardship is not over. Please let your arm rest for 3 more days. It should be oke then. She says after she looks at your arm.

 

[Thordain]

Wilt wakes up.

Where am I....?

 

[Q-Ball]

Wilt wakes up with his head pounding like mad. He is dazed alot. A minute pases before you realize what happened. You then turn your head a bit and try to open your eyes. As you turn your head you feel a pain coming from behind your eyes, and not so long later you realize you cant open your eyes. In a panic you utter the words "Where am I'.

A nurse standing next to you says "Mister, You woke up. We had little hope for you. You must've been fighting a terrible fight. Please don't touch your eyes. They seemed scorched by something. We should be able to fix it, however it will take some time. Please take your rest now" He grabs your hand in a comforting way.

 

[Emerald]

Elena had been awake before the others but was very nervous of her unknown surrounding and therefore had not stirred until the others did. She glances at the men in the room and is unsure how to respond to Thelenor seeming kind words.

I...I am called Elena, and I was on a scouting mission when.......

She hugs her knees to her chest and looks away.
