Legends & Lore: The Sorcerer class

....okay, now I'm just being wacky.

...a Sole sorcerer who draws power only from these sources: Bottom-fish, the bottoms of shoes, and the nature of Uniqueness itself.

Or the Sauce sorcerer, drawing power from ketchup and other liquified condiments.

Why do Wizards really need metamagic? They didn't have it before 3e.

Actually, wizards did have metamagic before 3e. They were just in the form of spells that modified other spells instead of feats (since feats didn't exist back then). The vocalize spell, for example, made other spells silent. The extension series of spells made other spells last longer. Etc.

1st edition had spells such as Extension and Ray's Numatic Enhancer

meta-magic has been around a very long time

That would be the sauce-eror.

Fans of Kingdom Of Loathing? It's Sauceror.
