[sblock="Brief History:"]
Fervol's nomadic tribe was infiltrated, and slaughtered by cultists. His parents were part of only a handful who could see the indoctrination for what it was. They hid Fervol in a safe place. The decimation of the tribe had drawn attention from the local town, and slavers. Fervol, the lone survivor of the massacre, was found and sold into the slave trade. He was eventually transferred to a crew that built and repaired roads. As he grew and matured into an adult, his strength was noticed. That, combined with his natural work ethic, made him valuable to his taskmaster. This afforded him a small amount of mobility that most of the other slaves did not enjoy. Slowly, Fervol started studying locations, shifts, and various patterns with his overseer. He started formulating an escape plan. He was able to anticipate his overseer's arrival and movements, and so made sure to be in the expected location during the expected time. Failing that, he ensured he was further along in his assigned tasks, so as to not arouse suspicion. Eventually, his taskmaster was lulled into a false sense of security. Almost a year went by, while Fervol planned and calculated. He finally made his move and fled.

It was hours before anyone even noticed he was missing. His plan had worked as expected, and the slavers did not react in time. Thanks to his physical gifts, he was able to put a large distance between himself and his pursuers. Now free, and truly alone, Fervol sets out on a mission: to reconnect with his roots by finding other tribes, and destroying any cults and slavers he encounters. He sees them as similar: they both exploit the weak and use others as a means to their ends.
