OOC: Sozin's summon monster 4 is a FULL ROUND spell, so the rhino won't appear until the very tip end of this round and won't be able to attack until next round, and he will presumably have to move some distance to reach the worm, but that depends on where Sozin wills for it to appear, within the stated range of the spell.

OOC: Oh, Ok. Well we'll let it go that way then. I just want it to appear at a range that will let it use powerful charge and act as a distraction at least.

Sozin begins making wild arcane gestures, speaking strange arcane-sounding words, and pulling out creepy bits of ... something ... and he spends the entire round doing so.

Upon extensive examination, I see that the coffee in question is indeed good.

Dontrious is still slightly hung over from his partying in town. He has been following along with his head wrapped in a towel to hide his eyes from the light, while sipping on water from his waterskin.

Seeing the huge worm appear, he mutters under his breath and chats as he strokes his arms and points at the worm, aiming over the head of Ero at the worm. A bolt of lightning jumps from his fingertips towards the worm.

Combat vs. Purple Worm

Dontrius's Lightning Bolt damage = 10d6
Purple Worm's saving throw: 1d20+8

damage, saving throw (9d6=37, 1d20+8=22) 37+6=43

The monster nimbly(?) ducks a good portion of the electrical discharge, and sustains only 21 hp of damage.

d6, 1-2= Johann, 3-4=yurei, 5-6=Sir Pavel 1-2=Johann, 3-4=Yurei, 5-6=Sir Pavel (1d6=1)
Johann is the lucky one.

Bite: Johann is hit for 31 hp of damage. Bite at Johann (1d20+25=38, 4d8+12=31) Furthermore, the worm gets a free attempt to grapple Johann, and if successful he is swallowed whole: swallow, gulp! (1d20+16=23) Johann's CMD =26, so swallow fails, bummer.

Sir Pavel, however is the lucky recipient of the attack from the worm's poisonous stinger. 1-2=Johann, 2-3=Yurei, 5-6=Sir Pavel (1d6=5)

Stinger: Sir Pavel is hit by the stinger for 19 hp damage, and must make a saving throw (fort) vs. the monster's poison. Stinger at Sir Pavel + poison (1d20+25=29, 2d8+12=19)

Sir Pavel's Fort save: 1d20+8, DC 25: And sir Pavel fails the save by a whisker ot two! (Or three.) DC 25 (1d20+8=22). Therefore, he suffers the temporary loss of 2 points of Str! 1d4=2
