Tylara's precaution is noted, she easily thrusts her arrow through the skeletal remains. In the other sarcophagus, Kerlan finds another set of drow elf remains similar to the first right down to the dirt in the coffin.

It is getting to be mid-afternoon about now, btw.

Kerlan starts to get frustrated. Larin seems to really like his secret doors, so he decides to search every inch of that casket. "You all try searching the others. I'm going over this one as thoroughly as possible." He tries moving it from the base, knocking on the base to listen for hollow spots, and empties the casket of everything, dirt and all, to check the interior as well.

OOC: Take 20 for total of 29. If there's still nothing found there he will move on to the next one, moving to the right, unless someone else is already searching it.

OOC: That's the second casket Kerlan has searched that gets the thorough treatment, isn't it? Assuming that is so.....

IC: Kerlan gives the second casket (the one along the south wall) a more thorough going over. He is not able to remove the casket from its base - the two are inextricably joined. Giving up on that, Kerlan removes the skeleton and the dirt beneath it, and, at long last locates a secret door in the bottom of the casket.

OOC: Ah ha! Found it!

IC: "Ah ha! Found it!" Kerlan opens up the secret door in the bottom and takes a look inside.

The Vault of Larin Karr! -- Secret Passage

Kerlan opens the secret door to reveal a narrow passage below the coffin that extends southward as far as you can see. The passage appears to be very small, just short of three feet wide and less than five fett high. It's going to be quite a feat [no pun intended, there is no [Maneuver in Coffin] Feat] to get into the coffin, through the secret door, and maneuver in the passage with all of your gear and everything. It does look quite roomy to Manny, though.

"Looks like a tight fit. What do you all think?"

"Manny can fit. Let him check it out."

"Manny, where are you?" Francheska looks around for Manny.
