New Wizard On The Way....
Please don't let me forget, young Cabalists, that we have another player interested! He is waiting for us to complete the current adventure and get to a more conducive place to add characters. He is 'Steeldragons' who is currently playing in BOTH of my two 1E AD&D games. I have provided him with links to this game, so for all I know, he may be making OOC posts to get an idea about what sort of Wizard would mesh well with the group. In fact, that might not be a bad idea for him, and he could even explore ways to create relationships with one or more existing PCs to flesh out his character's background more. I have given him the link to the PFRSRD, but I'm not sure whether he has any actual playing experience with any edition past 1E.

I'm not at all surprised by this. I can imagine you two getting along quite well. In other words, he's an alright guy and I like him. This guy, Steeldragons, lives in Andorra, between Spain and France. Does that ring a bell? There are no language issues, however -- he's an American transplant.
Let me also add that he is an excellent player -- he gets into character very well, and cracks me up on a fairly regular basis....not that doing so is all that difficult.

Uhhh, what's a Rod of Striking? It sounds familiar but I can't find anything on it.
