Good infusions include:

Iron Construct
Armor Enhancement, Greater
Toughen Construct
Weapon Augmentation
Bull's Strength/Bear's Endurance

Those are the major ones he can cast out of the ECS. Hope that helps

Cheers,

Well, I hope I'm posting this soon enough to help out.

Juggernauts can be a lot of fun -- I've been playing mine for over a year now, from level 1 all the way up to 15 last week. Here are a few ideas I've incorporated that you may wish to consider for the future...

If you do take an EWP, grab some Strongarm Bracers from MIC and buy a large Fullblade. 3d8 + 1/2 Str really starts to add up, especially if you put Keen on it and go for crits. Regardless of the weapon choice, if you take the Dungeon Crasher variant for your 2nd and 6th Fighter levels, then I highly recommend looking into putting Brutal Surge on your weapon, and eventually taking the Shock Trooper feat. This would allow you to initiate your bull rushes at strategic times while still dealing weapon damage, and directing your enemies into walls to compound that damage from Dungeon Crasher.

There are also a few other ideas that allow you to capitalize on the namesake of your chosen prestige class. If you take a level of Barb, grab Extra Rage (so you can rage in several encounters), then consider Destructive Rage. By combining Destructive Rage, Dungeon Crasher, and the Juggernaut bonuses to charges, bull rushes, and breaking things, you can get your Str check into the 40s when aiming a charging bull rush at a wall. There would simply be no use for doors at this point. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the DC for smashing through 1 ft. of worked stone is 35.

Have fun with Breach, and best of luck.

Glad you enjoyed it. ;)

One more thing I forgot to add earlier: if you like the idea of breaking through things, don't forget the dead levels article from wizards.com. Taking Applied Force to fill in some of those boring Fighter levels sure does add up over time.

Alright, I am printing this now, so it is the version I will take with me tomorrow. But I will check the thread again before I go to sleep and I may make some notes if there is anymore juicy stuff. I will tell you guys how Breach does in a few days (I got my game tomorrow then social stuff and a long bike ride for the rest of the weekend).

Thanks Again!

W/warforged artificer in the party... Did he take at least the level 4 substitution level?
If you can take the 4th sub. level and keep your normal 5th level... Craziness. 1/2 xp on weapons/armor/constructs... And guess what? You're a construct who uses weapons and armor.

Yeah he makes a lot of our gear, and I think he has 6 dedicated wrights making potions and such while we are out to finance his going through wands of fireball like anything.

Breach did pretty well in his first game, the session was intended to be a fairly simple dungeon crawl, except the group got sidetracked while in the obligatory introduction of the druid when the lightning rail we were on was attacked by two battlebriars and a large red dragon. Instead of heading on to the dungeon we decided to try and find out where the dragon kept its hoard, and in doing so found the thrid battlebriar which was of the very large and dangerous variety. I will not bore you with combat details, but I spent a good chunk of the battle impaled on a spike on the Battlebriar's back, but I was being healed regularly and i decided it was a fine place to bash away with my battle fist. Ended up barely surviving after I did manage to disentangle myself, but I got knocked fifty feet away, and was almost killed. The rogue decided to steal my +1 keen greatsword, which is a :):):):):):) thing to do, but it was in character, and I will try to get her back if I ever figure out she did it...

Thanks for the help,
I will keep you updated on Breach whenever something interesting happens to him.

Well, as so often happens to me recently I find myself needing to roll a new character for my upcoming Eberron game (due to my Duskblade dieing a hilarious but painful death last week). I have opted to create a Warforged Fighter/Juggernaut due to the fact that we basically have no real melee specialists in our group and that our strongest character is an artificer.

I am still fairly new to DnD so I would greatly appreciate any help in creating an optimized juggernaut, I am not married to that idea though so if anyone has any brilliant suggestions I am more then happy to consider them.

The relevant details are as follows:

28 point buy

starting at level 7

19k gold to start with, but I cannot spend more then half of it on any one item

all common books are allowed, except for magic of the incarnum, complete psionics (DM allows psionics, but doesnt like them very much, and doesnt allow that book at all), and tome of battle

the group currently consists of a level 9 warforged Artificer who is going the "blastificer" route, a level 7 human fighter/sorc/knight arcane/knight phantom, a level 7 changeling rogue, and a level 7 druid/natures warrior with the alternate wildshape feat from PHBII.

I am looking for a high damage fighter who tends to solve situations by putting his head down and charging, I would like it to be optimized but I dont want to try and pull a fast on my DM, and my main goal is to find a character that is fun to play.

Any builds would be greatly appreciated, and let me know if there is anything I can clear up.

I previously built a Warforged Charger Juggernaut, but for him, you'd need to be at least level 8 because of his +4 LA and 4 Construct Levels. And YES! A level adjustment is separate from racial levels, for all of you that miss that rule EVERYWHERE! So, if you want to play a Succubus, you start at level 12, damn it! Anyway, back to the build. I designed him with the best possible damage output and ability scores. Oh, and not to get preachy, but a word of warning for DMs out there that stick to the rules of the game; when you read a magic item and compare it to racial or class abilities, like with a Warforged Juggernaut, any item that has a spell prerequisite for its creation is also held to that standard. So, for instance, if you want a Ring of Regeneration, you can't use it as a Juggernaut because you're immune to any spell with the Healing Subschool. The reason being is because the ring has the spell Regeneration as its effect. You're immune to that spell. The only way you'd be so lucky as to make it work would be to homebrew magic items that cost... Hmm... About 1,000 Gp more than their normal counterparts to function as Repair Damage Spells as opposed to Cure Spells.

As a complete alternative, how about going straight Monk 7 or Ftr 2 / Mk 5? Sure you're losing 2 points of BAB, but being Warforged you get your armour plus the Monk's bonus.
