Ah, to me that's FRed. Fifth Revised EDition.I can't do that—"fiver" to me will always be Hero System 5e, Revised).![]()
No it is not.I mean sure sure, existence is subjective, true objectivity is a myth, of course of course.
But also yeah that's basically what it is.
This.No it is not.
Compared to 3.5 there is less substantial change.
5.24 is way better.
I'd say, IF all proposed changes had found their way into the new books, 5.5 would have been more or less warranted.This.
.24 works for both the magnitude of change (less than 3.5) and the year.
Also jumping to .5 implies the edition is half over. Which may not be the case.
Agreed.I'd say, IF all proposed changes had found their way into the new books, 5.5 would have been more or less warranted.
I am speaking of:
- unified subclass structure
- unified spell lists
- warlock to half caster
Those are changes to the underlying structure of the game.
We still have a few things that are still there:
- unified subclass entry at level 3
- redo of grappling
.04 you meant I guess.Agreed.
.1 for weapon mastery, which is big.
.1 for for all the other little core rule changes (potions as a bonus action, grapple, ext)
.4 for all the class changes. Where 90% of the features are the same.
That is ok.Look, we are all going to call it whatever we individually want, right up until the time WotC starts using their own "official" designation. Because at that point most of the general gaming populace who aren't all persnickety like we folks here are will just go along with what WotC says. Cause it doesn't actually matter whatsoever.
So just use what you want for now and stop trying to make 'fetch' happen.
