Cards go up 3-1. Taking advantage of sloppy fielding by Detoit.
Still not over yet. St. Louis was up 3-1 against detroit in 1968 and lost, and that was when they had the unbeatable Bob Gibson. But things sure look good.

that was indeed some terrible fielding. Detroit's pitching is going for one error per game - some of those, like the one last night, can be pretty costly. i won't fault granderson for his play though - as the announcers said, that grass was pretty wet - although if he had been back farther, he would have had a better chance.
well, the cards have this one in hand - as long as they don't pull a cubs.
