It's OK Boz. Being from Southern Illinois originally(you know that state that the Chicago area happens to be attached to?), we wanted to sell off Chicago and the surrounding area to Canada and even said we would through in Michigan for good measure.

They told us, "No way are we taking both Chicago AND Detroit."

But on a serious note, I hope every team that's not from St. Louis losses - a lot.

i'll be happy for any team who wins. the Cardinals have waited 24 years for a championship, the Tigers have gone 22 years, the Mets have gone 20 years, and the Athletics have gone 17 years.

hmm, so maybe i should be rooting for the Cardinals after all! i'm officially changing my vote to Cardinals for NLCS and Tigers for ALCS.

BTW - I about fell over last night, I didn't realize that Andy Van Slyke was the 1st base coach for Detroit. (At least I think it was Detroit - my mind can't seem to recall which color jersey I saw him in last night.) That means that with coaches, announcers and players, St. Louis has the man advantage.
