Okay. After flipping through an old monster manual, I've realized (yet again) that D&D is just a hodgepodge of Chimera creatures. We've got Owl + Bear, Drow + Spider, Man + Horse, and a bazillion other combination critters.

Let's worm our way into D&D obscurity, and combine to make our own critter for the history books.

Here's the game:

Step One: I post a list of about twenty odd animals.
Step Two: We vote on our favourite animal "composite" part. Please, no dirty jokes.
Step Three: Voting closes after a few days.
Step Four: Everyone takes their stab at combining those parts to make a critter. This goes on for a week or so.
Step Five: May the best nomination win.
Step Six:
Step Seven: Profit!

A while back I made a table for generating D&D monsters. It would work quite well if combined with your list above as most of mine are templates or features rather than base creatures. 54 is not a very good number for a table so it still needs some work.

2. Amorphous
3. Mist
4. Invisible
5. Zombie
6. Ghost
7. Vampire

11. Winged – bat, bird
12. Mer-
13. Chitterling ie lower half of body is a snake
