• NOW LIVE! Into the Woods--new character species, eerie monsters, and haunting villains to populate the woodlands of your D&D games.

Let's play "Name that movie!"

Never seen it and, like Shadowdancer, never heard of it until this thread.

I do, however, find these comments at the IMDB very entertaining:

Ugh. I saw this snooze-inducing mess when it was released theatrically (in headache-inducing 3-D), and all I remember about it are these aspects:

(1) the sub-"Masters of the Universe" animation;
(2) endless scenes of primitive CGI spaceships;
(3) the vicious on-screen strangulation of a woman;
(4) the C-3PO/"Metropolis" ripoff (a golden "female" robot) getting a "spanking" from the Han Solo-ripoff--literally, he puts her over his knee and reroutes some wires in her, um, butt--after which she falls madly in love with him (ugh);
(5) the lightsaber-ripoff, generated from the hero's life-force (cough) through his hands as he holds them in front of his groin...

Now, I am feeling a strange compulsion to see this mess. Thank goodness for Netflix!

I vaguely remember seeing this on TV many many years ago. I don't think it was great but no worse than most other animation of the era
