Cost of raw materials for oak door: 1.5 gp times 70 pounds or 105 gp.
Raw materials cost half the finished product; the finished product then should start at a minimum of 210 gp.
Add in the cost of materials labor to go from "planks of wood" to "door" (and install iron bands, rivets, etc.) and you get another 50 gp thrown in to cover that.
I thought it was on the high side, myself... until I froogled "solid oak front entry door" - and the first item on the list was a "single solid door made in oak, ready to install" for $1325!!!
