Pal4 is a must for Divine Might.
Yeah, I'm definitly seeing the benefits of taking (more) Paladin levels.

Also, in lieu of Occult Slayer or Pious Templar, I'm considering maybe a level in Knight. However, this will mean no Paladin of Freedom, which was what I was hoping for...

Much thought needs to be put to this...

What is this, exactly?
Divine Metamagic is a feat from Complete Divine (see errata). It lets you add metamagic to a spell with no increase in the spell slot used by burning turn undead attempts (1+level increase from feat). Persistent Spell gives a spell with Range: Personal a duration of 24 hours.

Persistent Spell [Metamagic]

Prerequisite:
Extend Spell.

Benefit:
A persistent spell has a duration of 24 hours. The persistent spell must have a personal range or a fixed range. Spells of instantaneous duration cannot be affected by this feat, nor can spells whose effects are discharged. You need not concentrate on spells such as detect magic or detect thoughts to be aware of the mere presence of absence of the things detected, but you must still concentrate to gain additional information as normal. Concentration on such a spell is a standard action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity. A persistent spell uses up a spell slot six levels higher than the spell’s actual level.
The "traditional" spells used in this combo are Divine Favor, Divine Power (not so good for a full BAB character) and Righteous Might.

The Extra Turning feat (+4) and nightsticks (7500 gp rods from Libris Mortis, +4) can add more turn undead attempts.

If it's a holy fighter type and cheese is no object, then the Fist of Raziel from the book of exalted deeds is worth a look at. I played a Cleric/FoR, which was quite nasty. Another guy went for a Cleric/Paladin(of freedom?)/FoR thing - that was pretty over the top. :)

yikes, that's nasty! I think I'd almost feel bad being so abusive with that :o As a DM, I know I'd never allow it, anyways.

I think I'd rather just power-up some nasty-butt divine feats :] DIVINE MIGHT!!!

If you go the paladin of freedom path with a halforc: Don't forget barbarian levels (2 usually) and take Extra Rage. You'll love it.

Divine Favor, Divine Might and Rage= possible in many battles with just one prep round.

What are the desert halforc stats?

Rage gets in the way of spells, and since I'm going to be needed on that end (healing and whatnot) I don't think that's a suitable option, really. Besides, I need those fighter levels for the feats I want WOOT!! :D

Here are the stats:

Racial Traits

Desert half-orcs have the general desert racial trait described above and all half-orc racial traits, with additions and exceptions as noted below.

* +2 Constitution, -2 Intelligence: The desert half-orc is lean and hardy rather than muscular, but has adapted to be more socially adept than a typical half-orc.
* Low-Light Vision: A desert half-orc can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. He retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
* No darkvision.
* Run: Desert half-orcs receive Run as a racial bonus feat. Typically too poor to afford mounts, half-orcs learn from an early age to get from place to place by running.

You can always end your rage if a spell is needed. Sure, you'll be exhausted. But you're a paladin, not a cure machine (cleric). You're supposed to bash baddies, then heal. Not heal while bashing baddies :D

Btw: Get some potions of Lesser Restoration if you get rage. ;)

Thanks for the stats.

No problem for the stats.

The thing about my party role though is going to be of secondary healer; thus I'm really going to need all the help I can get. Now, if I were going for pure break-in-the-door madness, Barbarian would top my list! Unfortunatly, not this game :(
