LG Character Redesign

Hello! I'm working on updating a character for LG. Here's what I have:

5 character levels
Male Gnome
Neutral Good
Str 8
Dex 14
Con 16
Int 16
Wis 8
Cha 12
1 stat bump available

So, I'm thinking a Rogue/Wizard, aiming for Arcane Trickster. Find ways to maximize sneak attacks with magic (Arcane Strike, Practiced Spellcaster, etc.).

How about you? What would you do with this starting point?

Daggerspell Mage. It's the Rogue/Wizard's Spellsword, except it only loses 2 levels of spellcasting (1st and 10th).

If you want to be a divination specialist, Unseen Seer. You'll loose more caster levels for non-divination spells though.

I also like ENWorld's responses, too... So don't worry about the campaign, but given the seed above, what would you do?

Possibly Beguiler (PHB2)? You lose the Sneak Attack, but in other ways it's almost a multiclassed Rogue/Wizard (Enchanter/Illusionist) in one.


If using point buy, I might be tempted to trade out some of that Con for some Cha, though, to boost those opposed Cha rolls where compelling someone to do something they'd rather not.
