A huge tower of flesh, 30ft tall, stumbles into the arena. It has almost a dozen tentacles waving around and before Meineke can say "Wtf!", it concentrates and disappears. It's last known location was 65n90e.

I forgot one minor detail after Snake was slain, and that is after I have been reminding myself the past few days not to forget the detail. :\

When Snake was killed, he exploded with a blinding flash. Meineke did not dodge the explosion (22 Ref save) and took 15 fire plus 15 negative energy damage. Meineke has 158 HP remaining.

The Tower of Power does something special. An ebony beam shoots out of the air from 65n90e, towards Meineke. Dodge this, Meineke!
[sblock] Disintegrate, of course. It then moves to 70n60e. I presume Meineke can blindsense the top of it, if you agree that it is in fact 30ft tall. The important part of that for Top, however, is that Meineke is now within range of the Fear Aura. It's unlikely Meineke will fail the save (DC 25), but it's probably a good idea to decide what would happen if he didn't. Dragons aren't immune to fear, but they're immune to paralysis.

Top's SPA's primarily for my reference (CL 18, DC 14 + SL)
at will - dispel magic (why couldn't this be in Elysium?),
fog cloud (rule in my favor or see another arena filled with fogs!),
improved greater invisibility (an invisible tower of flesh? nasty hobbitses),
lightning bolt (let's hope he gets a chance to use these)

The paralysis due to fear has already come up once before. I had ruled that dragons are immune (great, fog clouds are coming).

30 feet tall is fine.

I agree about the dispel magic.[/sblock]The beam hits Meineke in the franistan, but it has no effect (CL check 30). Meineke detects something at 70-80N60E20-25Z.

Holy smokes! Meineke has better than SR 30? I thought missing on a 28 was rough, but man. Does he have awaken spell resistance? I have not looked at the dragon's stats in the books, but I'm sure even a gold dragon of equal equal CR cannot match that.

Even without Awaken Spell Resistance, the SR is better than 30. You are correct about the gold dragon. Planar dragons tend to have higher SR than regular dragons. I suppose that is compensation for no levels in sorcerer.
