LG vs. CE: Lawful Good is Victorious!

OOC: He's AT the end of the round, so that doesn't seem fair. Maybe if he doesn't act by his next initiative? Quite honestly, though, I could see not allowing a delay at all. It's obvious that he wants to see an opponent before acting uselessly (which is what it would be unless the opponent is kind enough to appear next to him).

My 2 cents: I would think fly boy could delay, but that if he did not act by the end of the round he'd be eating a face full of earth.

I agree.

EDIT: How can Max be at the end of the round if two creatures act after him?

Sneak Preview for CE:[sblock]a marilith. (demon) (MM)[/sblock]

Well, near the end of the round. It doesn't matter, put him at the end of the round and compare that with someone at the beginning of the round. Why can one delay during everyone else's action and the other can't? That makes no sense. Everyone should be able to delay the same amount of time, whether it's allowed at all.

G:[sblock]With True Seeing, can Mari see any invisible combatants? Aside: how dumb is having See Invisibility as a SLA when you have permanent True Seeing?[/sblock]

OK, then I guess the penalty for delay is stalling. Max's turn or he eats dirt. ;)

ugulu:[sblock]Mariliths can cast see invisibility on themselves before they polymorph (that's the best reason I can come up with). She sees that the flying LM is an illusion and the real LM is surrounded by a bunch of illusions on the roof at 90N50E40Z. St. Stephen is bumping his head on the west wall at 80N0E110Z.

Let's party! Mari Queen of Blades, large, 6-armed, and 9' tall even coiled, appears at 95n55e and hopefully gets a SLA to function.[sblock]20' radius Blade Barrier centered at 95n60e ( I think that's right - I want the centre to be the dead centre intersection of the victory zone ).[/sblock]

Omega Supreme cranes his neck as he tries to get a bead on Mari, but Optimus Prime is in the way.

Max's tail twitches, but Mari is too far away to receive his wrath.

Mari concentrates defensively (43 Concentration) and a 20 foot radius ring of blades, with the center at 100N60E, flies around the edge of the victory zone.

Optimus Prime finishes off round 175, followed by the rest of the entourage in round 176.

LM & Co:[sblock]St. Patrick acts normally in round 176. Leo babbles. St. Stephen attacks Leo.[/sblock]

"Rassafrassin' no-good (literally) maralith..."

Optimus Prime takes off into the air, circling sharply until he's at 60n55e20z (heading east) and then breathes a line of force at the six-armed wench. "Hey all, the six-armed wench put up some sort of cylindrical barrier of whirling, force-like blades. Dunno what it is. :)"

St. Patrick growls in anger, "Blasted forces o' chaotic evil! I'll skin tha hide o' tha next chaos dragon!" He then wastes casts heal on himself to remove the confusion. He would tell everyone what Mari created because he has the spell himself but without spellcraft . . .. He then flies to 70n75e50z.

Leo, at the western edge of the battlefield, starts mumbling in strange phrases. "The blue bunny flew the lawn!"

Can Sonja lean down over the edge of the victory zone ceiling and see the blades or the maralith? Her actions depend on whether this is possible.

If she goes into a prone position, sure.
