That looks an awful lot like waves of exhaustion, but note that Sonja has death ward, which protects against negative energy effects. I know this because this came up in my game and we had a discussion on it. One of the reasons I nerfed death ward a little bit IMC.

It turns out only LM is exhausted, Sonja is not affected as well.

St. Patrick starts round 179 if BH still approves the outcome of its turn.

The audience is blown away as they see the action reverse up to the point where Black Hole disappeared from the floor of the arena. LM & Co. don't remember what Black Hole did after that point.

Round 178: As Black Hole suddenly appears on the roof at 105N40E, it behaves very similar to when it appeared in the arena (concentrating?).

LM becomes exhausted. Sonja, St. Patrick & Optimus Prime are unaffected (21 CL check for Optimus Prime).

St. Patrick starts round 179. We can say that Omega Supreme uttered something in Celestial when he saw Black Hole initially appear in the arena, so he doesn't have to repeat what he said.

St. Patrick steps 5ft to the north and blasts Black Hole with a disintegrate spell (defensively, just in case that thing has abnormal reach).

Lady Mariangela comments, "It's up here! I'm exhausted, but don't worry about me for a little while. Kill this thing. And kill it quickly. Sonja, be willing to join me." She delays.

Sonja targets big and ugly with a righteous smite, defensively.

Lady Mariangela (the real one, since this thing obviously can see her) concentrates defensively and then her and Sonja "disappear." (see below and inform CE if necessary)

Omega Supreme lifts into the air, flies in a tight circle, finally ending up heading west at 50n5e40z and blasts Black Hole with a force breath. That should be enough to kill it.

[sblock] LM concentrates on etherealness, and then moves south 30ft to 60n50e40z. Don't forget to roll SR for Sonja. [/sblock]

St. Patrick concentrates intensely (40 Concentration check) and sends a ray at BH, which hits (24 touch). Black Hole pulls some unholy stuff out of its blackness and actually resists! (24 Fort save) It still takes 19 damage and has 293 hp left.

Sonja barely concentrates (23 Concentration check) and sends a bolt of holy power on top of BH. It resists again (26 Will save) and takes a whopping 17 damage. BH has 276 hp left.

LM concentrates well enough (39 Concentration), but only she disappears. Sonja is left behind.

LM:[sblock]Your version of etherealness is limited to yourself plus 50 lbs of objects only.[/sblock]

Omega Supreme breathes and Black Hole doesn't dodge this time. (26 Ref save) It takes 90 damage and has 186 hp left.

Omega Supreme:[sblock]You can breathe again in round 183.[/sblock]

Sonja can take a move action if she likes and the results of Omega Supreme's breath are subject to BH's approval.

Meanwhile the rest of round 179 continues.

Omega Supreme yells out, "Let's see if he still gets that 'subject to BH's approval' nonsense when he's dead! "

Sonja doesn't get a move action because LM delayed. Sonja didn't know she wasn't going and LM just flubbed. Hey, even the well-organized, well-oiled Dream Team screws up once in a while.

St. Stephen babbles some more, this time equating the color of a particular flower with the smell of napalm in the morning.

Maximus Rex also lifts off into the air, circling around to 75n80e40z heading north. He breathes at Black Hole as well.

Optimus Prime flies around Maximus Rex, performs a wingover, and then flies back towards the center of the arena at 60n55e40z heading west (using up a min. distance however necessary). He then yells out in draconic, "Begone!" And motions with a claw, dispelling the darkness surrounding the Black Hole.

Mod: [sblock] Note any attacks of opportunity, which will be taken by the dragons with their tails.

If BH does that time-reversal thing again, will the breath weapon recharge rolls get rerolled?

BH makes a pathetic attempt at dodging Max's breath (16 Ref save) and takes 114. It has 72 hp left, subject to its approval.

Optimus Prime's attempt to dispel the darkness has no effect. The daylight underneath the victory zone roof reappeared when BH appeared on the roof, and it extends around 40 feet from the victory zone, but everywhere else is still bathed in shadow.

LM & Co.:[sblock]The breath weapon recharges can be rerolled only if BH decides that they need to be rerolled, so you better let it know right away.
I'm sure you're making fewer mistakes than I would make with this many super creatures. Hell, I can't even get an 11th level psychic warrior to survive against an evil treant in PJSlavner's game. :\ [/sblock]
