LG vs. N: Lawful Good Victorious!

The Warden will greater teleport (as a Supernatural ability) to 110N110E. I don't think a Concentration check is required for Supernatural abilities, but should you decide it is, he has Concentration +14. Btw, this particular archon is built to take on creatures which have magical abilities. I can't even bother using his best ability against the stupid roc.

Didn't I tell you this is a magic roc? :)

You are correct about supernatural abilities not requiring a Concentration check.

Round 500: The roc takes a flying charge and lands at 85N85E. It claws (rolled 32+2=34 for charge) for 18-10=8 points of damage. The warden has 18 HP remaining. The roc also grabs on (54 vs. 30 grapple check).

A magic roc! Whydidntyousaysointhefirstplacedammit!

The Warden greater teleports to 0N0E. Once there, he will full attack at PA +3 until dead, which will be the following round. The purpose of teleporting here, though, just so you know, is to put the roc closer to the LG entrance, in case it helps the next combatant.

You can sure trust those Lawfuls to think about the team first.

The roc takes another flying charge, landing at 15N15E, and misses (rolled 25+2=27 for charge).

Round 502: The warden hits with both claws, but misses with bite (rolled 16), for a total of (including rending) 52 points of damage. The roc has 119 HP remaining.
The roc claws once for 17-10=7 and grabs on. The warden has 11 HP remaining.

Round 503: The warden hits with both claws for 54. The roc has 65 HP remaining.
The roc squishes three times for 25. The warden is cheered for putting up a good fight. The roc is at 15N15E and has 65 HP.

First in round 504 for Lawful Good is a crypt warden (Book of Exalted Deeds). I need help on this one as well, Infiniti.

Wow! The Warden put up a tremendous fight! Holy smokes!

Unless someone else responds first, I won't be around my books until late tonight (11pm EST or so).

OOC: That Throne Archon is gonna be a blast. She gets a vorpal greatsword.

A human-sized skeleton wearing a heavy shield, breast plate, some nice boots and leather gloves tumbles clumsily into the arena to 115N10E and fearlessly attacks the roc with a holy smite. He has a beautiful, gem-encrusted bastard sword scabbarded on his hip bone. All of his equipment looks to be of exceptional quality, being masterwork, and is intricately carved with holy symbols and runes signifying Mighty Pelor.

HP 58; AC 21 (touch 11); Grapple +6; Space/reach 5/5
Atk masterwork bastard sword +8 (1d10+2 plus 1 holy)
Tumble -1 (I kid you not)
DR 5/bludgeoning
Traits similar to undead (called Deathless) - immune to crits, nonlethal, massive damage
Holy Smite (Sp) - CL 10, Will DC 17

Round 504: The roc hardly notices the holy smite. It takes 9 points of damage from the spell, leaving it with 56 HP.
The roc takes a flying charge, landing at 85N15E and grabs the skeleton (rolled 38+2=40 for charge) with a claw (44 vs. 21 grapple), dealing 18-5=13 points of damage, and pulling the skeleton into its space. The skeleton has 45 HP remaining.

The skeleton speaks common and then celestial, looking for a language that the roc might know. "This is really just a huge misunderstanding. I heard that there was something evil around here, trying to get into the tomb I guard, but obviously I'm mistaken." He then breaks into a mid-80's song, "Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry?"

Diplomacy +17

No, really.

He has nothing better to do. No ranks in Concentration and with a Con of --, he gets +0, meaning he cannot succeed on another holy smite. With a grapple check of +6 and no light weapon, he has no chance to hurt the roc in any way. Unless a sarcophagus appears in the arena, he's pretty much useless. Kill 'im quick.

He gets to use his Charisma bonus for Constitution checks. He has no time for Diplomacy, but the roc gives no sign that it understands. I rolled a 4 on the d20 for your Concentration check if you went that route, + Cha modifier.

Round 505: The roc squeezes three times for 38 (no check required).
Round 506: The roc squeezes once for 14. The skeleton is destroyed. The roc takes to the air and is at 75N55E20Z, flying west.

First in round 507 for Lawful Good is a young radiant dragon (Draconomicon). It has the feats Blind-fight, Great Fortitude, Improved Speed, Iron Will, Rapid Strike, and Weapon Focus (claw). It has the following maxed-out skills: Escape Artist, Knowledge (architecture, the planes), Listen, Search, Sense Motive, Spot, and Use Magic Device.

+3 Cha modifier, so he still couldn't do it. I didn't know that he would use a Cha modifier, though. (after checking) Okay, he's not undead, but yes indeed that still holds true for Deathless. Hey, you learn something new every combat. :)

Radiance enters the arena to 30N20E, moving abnormally quickly along the ground. She then emits a line of force at the roc.
