I've always found the story behind the FL plate A55RGY hilarious. You have to see the plate to get the joke, but it was actually issued by the FL DMV. When it was finally pointed out to them what an offensive plate they'd allowed on the street, they asked for it back -- and the owner refused!

I've seen a "Jesus Saves ... and takes Half Damage!" bumper sticker once. I should have stopped the driver and asked where he got it.
