Ear collecting? The industry's rougher than I thought.D20Dazza said:As Impeesa alludes to WoTC (AKA GCFKATSR) released the original Unearthed Arcana some time in 1985. Only beat Monte by 20 ears or so.

Plane Sailing said:So it seems like Wizards of the Coast should be the subject of your ire, but your wishes for them are inappropriate. After all, you could have looked at the book before you purchased it.
Plane Sailing said:However, you may find that the shop you bought AU from will refund you if you return it in pristine condition and ask them very nicely. It is certainly worth a try.
It is most definately NOT the law of the land, unless you live in a very different land than I do. Stores are not by any means obligated to accept returned purchases. If you actually asked the clerk for UA and got AU, then he made a regrettable accident, and the store will probably be more than happy to offer a return or exchange. If you went to the store and picked up a book with a different cover, different author, different publisher, and different content than another book with a similar title, it's your own damned fault. Either way, there's no reason to be anything but polite.Tric said:Yes. I'll do that when I get the time. Also, I won't have to "ask them nicely". Since it's in the laws of the land, they can't refuse me. If they don't like it, that's their problem.
